MANILA, Philippines — Police apprehended 15 foreigners who allegedly partied and violated social distancing rules in a Makati bar on Wednesday night.
Mass gatherings and leisure establishments are still banned in areas under general community quarantine.
Police arrested the Cameroonians – 12 men and three women – for allegedly partying at the Evolution bar in Barangay Poblacion.
Authorities said they raided the bar following a complaint from residents in the area.
Police said they confiscated a sachet of shabu and liquor from the suspects.
