MANILA, Philippines — The members of a robbery gang have been identified as “persons of interest” in the robbery of a bank in downtown Manila last Thursday.
In a press conference at the city hall yesterday, Mayor Isko Moreno presented photos of the members of the Parojinog robbery group and said tracker teams have been sent to go after the suspects.
He named Marlon Parojinog – reportedly connected to the Parojinogs of Ozamis City, some of whom have been arrested on drug charges – as the alleged leader of the group and its members as Michael Calunod, Noli Bonifacio Casuela, Gilcar Mofan and Frederex Secretario.
The Manila Police District earlier said at least five to seven persons were involved in the robbery of the Metrobank branch on Sto. Cristo street, based on footage taken by closed-circuit television cameras in the area.
