Filipino-British model, TV host beat up bar workers, cop in Makati

MANILA, Philippines — Two Filipino-British celebrities were arrested after they allegedly attacked the employees of a bar in Makati City and a policeman before dawn yesterday.

Model Christian Lopez Busby, 27, and Daniel Marsh, 21, a host of reality show “Juan Direction” on TV5, reportedly created a scene at the Antidote Bar.

When bar manager Carlito Camo, 54, and bouncer Reynaldo Latosa tried to pacify the two men, Marsh allegedly overturned tables and hit Camo and Latosa.

Police officers arrested the two celebrities, who ended up in detention at the Police Community Precinct 6 in Barangay Poblacion at around 1:20 a.m. yesterday.

Marsh allegedly kept on shouting while at the precinct, calling Senior Police Officer 1 Roland Von Madrona “corrupt” when he tried to pacify the television host.

Marsh and Busby allegedly smashed Madrona’s head against the steel bars of the detention cell.

Marsh and Busby face charges of malicious mischief, alarm and scandal, physical injury, resisting arrest, direct assault and disobedience to an agent of a person in authority, police said.
