MANILA, Philippines — A man was buried alive in a landslide in Camarines Sur on Thursday.
Darwin Bermejo was sleeping at his house at the foot of a mountain in Barangay Sipaco, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur when a landslide occurred at about 1 p.m., barangay kagawad Irene Nuñez told police.
Police officers and personnel of the municipal disaster risk reduction and management office helped retrieve the body of the victim.
