MANILA, Philippines — A total of 157 hectares of agricultural land were recently distributed to agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Roxas City, Capiz.
Karlo Bello, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Undersecretary for Field Operations, said 240 certificates of land ownership awards were handed to 154 farmers.
“Aside from land distribution, DAR is also strengthening its support programs and services to the ARBs and their communities,” Bello said.
He urged the beneficiaries to develop the land and not to sell or lease it.
