MANILA, Philippines — Some of Makati’s roads will be closed tomorrow to give way to a parade and street party to celebrate the city’s 348th Foundation Day.
In a statement issued yesterday, the city government said the stretch of Makati Avenue from J.P. Rizal street to Kalayaan Avenue will be closed to traffic from 1 a.m. onwards on June 2.
Motorists from Mandaluyong and Guadalupe areas going to Ayala Avenue are encouraged to take J.P. Rizal street while vehicles going to Mandaluyong and J.P. Rizal may take P. Burgos street.
Those who are going to J.P. Rizal street may take P. Burgos street. The city government said that a sufficient number of traffic enforcers will be deployed during the day.
