NORTH COTABATO – A couple was wounded in a grenade attack in Mlang, North Cotabato on Monday night.

Farmer Nestor Lambid, 58, and his wife Juvy, 54, suffered shrapnel wounds and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Two men lobbed the grenade at the house of the couple in Barangay Nueva Vida through an open window at around 6 p.m., Chief Inspector Aldrin Gonzalez, Soccsksargen police information officer, said yesterday.

A manhunt for the suspects, one of them identified as Ronnie Rabor, is underway.

Probers are eyeing a land dispute as the motive for the attack.
