MANILA, Philippines - Police have launched a manhunt for five suspects in the explosion that left 13 people wounded in Quiapo, Manila on April 28.
Manila Police District (MPD) director Chief Superintendent Joel Coronel withheld the identities of the suspects, who are residents of Manila.
Coronel maintained that the blast was a result of a scuffle between rival gangs and not connected with any terror group.
The Islamic State had claimed responsibility for the explosion.
Mayor Joseph Estrada ordered the MPD to hunt down the suspects.
