3 die in road mishaps

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Three persons died after they were hit by speeding vehicles in Cavite and Batangas on Monday.

A man who has yet to be identified was hit by a passenger jeepney driven by Felicismo Lastica along Centennial highway in Barangay Tramo Bantayan in Kawit, Cavite. He died while being treated at the  Crisostomo Hospital in Bacoor, Cavite.

Joebert Tarasona was hit by a jeepney in Barangay San Isidro in Lipa City while Reynar de la Peña was struck by a Nissan Urvan driven by Dexter Mendoza along the national road in  Barangay Banay-Banay in San Jose town.

The drivers of the vehicles surrendered to responding policemen.
