MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 3.8 earthquake hit Ilocos Norte on Friday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said yesterday.
Phivolcs said the quake, which occurred at 9:51 p.m., was located at 60 kilometers south west of Pasuquin town.
The quake was felt at Intensity 3 in Pasuquin and Intensity 2 in Laoag and Paoay.
No damage and aftershocks were expected from the quake, state seismologists said.
