MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday said fair weather is seen to prevail in the next two to three days after Typhoon Lando exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said there is no expected tropical cyclone to enter the country until Wednesday.

“The whole country will generally have good weather condition, aside from isolated rains,” Aurelio said.

“Wala din tayong nakikitang LPA (low pressure area) o bagyo na posibleng makaapekto sa bansa hanggang Miyerkules,” he added.

Despite no disturbances foreseen, Aurelio said the whole country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers in the next three days due to localized thunderstorms.

Aurelio said Visayas and Mindanao will be affected by a ridge of high-pressure area which could bring clear skies and warm temperature.

The weather bureau said that aside from cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers expected on Sunday, there will also be light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast that will prevail over northern Luzon coming from the east over the rest of the country.

There are no gale warning issued for the fisherfolk as the coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. Fisherfolk are safe to venture into the sea.
