MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake a three-day road reblocking and repairs starting  August 21 on two major thoroughfares in Pasig and Parañaque cities.

In an advisory on Friday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said  DPWH personnel will be working on the road works starting 10 p.m. tomorrow night until August 24.

The DPWH will do repairs on the northbound, innermost lane of the C-5 Road between SM warehouse to FR Cement going to Lanuza Street, in Pasig City.

Meanwhile, it will also do road repairs on the southbound of South Super Highway, East Service Road in Parañaque City.

Emerson Carlos, MMDA assistant general manager for operations, said DPWH-National Capital Region Director Reynaldo Tagudando has recommended the reblocking and repair of the roads for maintenance purposes.

All affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday.

The MMDA also advised motorists to avoid the said areas and use alternate routes instead.
