MANILA, Philippines - Police have nabbed in Manila another inmate who escaped from a police detention cell in Quezon City.
The Quezon City Police District said that members of the Manila Police District station 4 recaptured Jeremy Llena, 26, around 1:40 p.m. at the house of his in-laws in Sampaloc, Manila.
Llena, the 12th inmate re-arrested by authorities, is facing illegal gambling charges.
Llena was one of the 16 inmates who bolted from the Cubao police station on New Year's Eve.
To date, tracker teams are still looking for four other inmates.
