MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-4.5 earthquake shook the island of Masbate yesterday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The epicenter of the tectonic quake was 20 kilometers southeast of Masbate City, Phivolcs said.
The quake was felt at Intensity 5 in Masbate City; Intensity 4 in Irosin, Sorsogon; Intensity 2 in Uson, Masbate and Legaspi City, Albay and Intensity 1 in Cabid-an, Sorsogon.
