Cop arrested for drugs

ILOCOS NORTE, Philippines – A police officer was arrested in a drug sting in Dingras town here Friday night.

Police Officer 2 John Ballesteros was collared after he allegedly sold shabu to a police informant, said town police chief Senior Inspector Teddy Rosquieta.

The suspect reportedly yielded a plastic sachet said to contain shabu, marked money and a mobile phone.

Ballesteros is being held at the provincial police detention as charges are readied against him.

Meanwhile, another drug suspect was arrested in Pagudpud town also on Friday night.

 Jeremy Go, 32, reportedly yielded two plastic sachets allegedly containing shabu, P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
