MANILA, Philippines - Authorities nabbed a suspected pusher during a buy-bust operation inside a bus terminal in Pampanga, seizing an estimated P450,000 worth of shabu.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that its operatives and the local police collared Amina Timbona, 27, a resident of Purok 5, Tambacan, Iligan City, during the sting operation.
Reports showed that last December 2, around 6 p.m., operatives nabbed Timbona after she sold a sachet containing suspected shabu, to an undercover PDEA agent who acted as a poseur-buyer inside Dau Bus Terminal in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Confiscated from Timbona were additional three plastic bags containing 300 grams of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated market value of P450,000.
Timbona’s arrest was a result of three weeks surveillance operations conducted by PDEA Regional Office 3 operatives.
She will be facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or also known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
