MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-3.2 earthquake shook parts of Negros yesterday but did not cause any damage or injury, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tremor was recorded at 10:58 a.m. with its epicenter traced at 21 kilometers southeast of Santa Catalina, Negros Oriental.
The quake was felt at Intensity 2 in Tayasan and Sibulan, Negros Oriental and Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Phivolcs said the quake was not expected to generate aftershocks.
