TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A student pilot was injured after her plane crashed as it was touching down at the San Fernando City Airport in La Union yesterday.
Eryn Grace Laforteza of the Leading Edge International Aviation Academy Inc. was trying to land a Cessna plane when the incident occurred at about 8:40 a.m.
She was taken to the Bethany Hospital for treatment.
La Union police director Senior Superintendent Ramon Rafael said aviation officials are investigating the incident.
