MANILA, Philippines - Close to P2 million worth of property were destroyed in a fire that struck the National Capital Region Police Office inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City, Monday evening.
Senior Inspector Vener Sevilla, chief arson invetigator of the Taguig Fire Station, said that fire struck the two-storey married non-officers quarters (MNOQ) at about 7:54 p.m. and quickly reached the third alarm.
The fire gutted six rooms of the apartment-type building before it was put out at about about 9:42 p.m.
Sevilla said that no one was hurt or killed in the fire.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined by the Taguig Fire Station.
