MANILA, Philippines - At least 21 people were injured after a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Aurora province Thursday morning.
Initial reports said a Papin Bus Liner (CWC-847) was speeding along a highway in Sitio Dimutol, Brgy. Dianawan, Maria Aurora town around 6:30 p.m. when driver Celestino Marzan lost control of the steering wheel.
The bus, which was reportedly on its way to Cabanatuan, fell into a 15-feet deep ravine in the area, reports added.
The injured passengers were brought to Aurora Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
Police are still investigating the accident.
