BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – Another resident of the Caraga region hanged himself reportedly due to financial problems in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte on Tuesday.
Eric Villahermosa, 26, reportedly the 13th to have committed suicide for this year in the region, was found by his mother, Juanita, at his boarding house in Barangay 5.
The mother rushed his son to the Cabadbaran City Hospital where he was declared dead.
Police said the victim used a strap of a bag in killing himself.
Last month a student from the Caraga State University took his life reportedly due to financial problem.
