MANILA, Philippines - The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said it has started an investigation on Wednesday's crash landing of a small plane in Pangasinan.
The CAAP said that it will try to determine if the crash was caused by mechanical problem, pilot error or natural causes.
Initial reports reaching the CAAP said a Piper Seneca training plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Barangay D Alarcio, Laoac town around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
No one was hurt among those on board the plane, including a certain Capt. Amarde, a Malaysian pilot; Indian co pilot Hares Sager; aircraft mechanic trainees Jeomar Pantaleon and Giovanni Arzadon.
The two wheels of the plane, owned by WCC Aeronautics Flying School based at Barangay Limansangan, Binalonan, Pangasinan, were damaged during the incident, the reports added.
