Laguna police drug intel agent shot dead

LAGUNA , Philippines   â€“ A police officer was gunned down by three men shortly past midnight in Biñan City last Saturday, authorities said.

Superintendent Simnar Semacio Gran, Biñan police chief, said PO3 Allen Aidalia had just come from a police training school and was on his way to his job as a member of an anti-drug surveillance team on board his motorcycle when he was waylaid in Barangay Langkiwa.  

Police quoted an eyewitness as saying that Aidalia managed to shoot it out with his attackers, wounding one of them.
