MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) entrance test, the first stage in the selection process for cadetship in the country’s prime military school, will be conducted today in 37 examination centers nationwide.
In a statement, the PMA said for this year it lowered the height requirement to five feet for both male and female applicants from the previous five feet and four inches and 5 feet and two inches, respectively.
The lowering of the height requirement is expected to increase the number of applicants wanting to enter the PMA.
With the previous height requirement, many Filipino youth with good educational background and are physically fit missed the opportunity to take the PMA entrance examination.
Applicants should be natural-born Filipino citizens, physically fit, of good moral character, single and never been married, at least high school graduate, and no administrative or criminal record.
