MANILA, Philippines - Unidentified men detonated another bomb in Upi town, Maguindanao province early Saturday.
Police said no one was hurt from in the blast, which took place at around 7:10 a.m. in an open field in Sitio Payong-Payong, Barangay Kebleg.
Col. Dickson Hermoso, spokesperson of the Philippine Army's 6th Infantry Division, said that the blast was the third in the Maguindanao since Wednesday.
Town Mayor Ramon Piang said that the explosion triggered panic among the residents.
Police and military units in the town were placed on full alert after the blast.
