SAN PEDRO, Laguna, Philippines – A man died while his four-month-old son is missing in a flash flood that left five members of another family injured in Barangay Estrella Saturday night.

Victor Montano, 46, was found floating in the river in neighboring Barangay Sto. Niño Sunday. His son, Francheskyunie, has yet to be found as of press time.

Meanwhile, Glenn Catinggub and four members of his family were injured when their shanty, which they share with the Montanos, was carried away by the floodwater.

Town police chief Superintendent Chito Bersaluna said the families were resting when the incident occurred at past 7 p.m.
