PDEA seizes over P300K worth of drugs in Negros Occidental

MANILA, Philippines-- Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency have arrested three suspected drug dealers in Negros Occidental in two separate sting operations, seizing an estimated P301,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Members of the PDEA regional office in Bacolod City first nabbed Rosa Calates, 55, of Sto. Niño, Brgy. Handumanan during a buy-bust operation.
Anti-narcotics agents also confiscated from the drug dealer last June 4 around 11: 30 a.m., 35 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance weighing more or less 20 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P170,000 and various drug paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, PDEA operatives also apprehended two notorious pushers in a separate buy-bust operation last that day.
Oday Ontong and Alda Onawal reportedly yielded around 15.5 grams of illegal drugs with an estimated market value of P131,750 and marked bills used as buy-bust money.
