MANILA, Philippines - Four gunmen shot and killed an official of the Land Registration Authority in an ambush in Tagaytay City on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said lawyer Reynaldo Aquino died instantly after four suspects riding on two motorcycles fired at his pickup truck along General Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Maharlika at around 5 p.m.
Aquino's driver, Edgar Sapuan, was hurt in the attack.
Police has arrested the lawyer's suspected attackers identified as Julius Capongot, June Villamor, Mark Anthony Vilanueva and Arwin Bio.
Police said they seized a .45 pistol, a Colt MK4 and two motorcycles from the suspects.
