BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – A murder suspect with an arrest warrant issued in 1999 yet by a regional trial court (RTC) judge who died eight years ago, finally fell in Barangay Bading here on Wednesday afternoon.
The arrested suspect, Ismael Merambi Crisostomo, was tagged as the city’s fifth most wanted.
Police said the late RTC judge Cipriano Alvizo issued the arrest warrant for Crisostomo on May 9, 1999 and recommended no bail for him.
