CALAUAG, Quezon , Philippines – Four people were killed and 10 others were injured in a three-vehicle smashup along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Sta. Milagrosa here before dawn yesterday, police said.
The mishap involved a Hyundai Grand Saloon, Isuzu Jitney and Toyota Innova.
Police identified the four fatalities as Felisa Sangcap Lait, 70, and Pedro Quintella Lait, 74, both occupants of the Grand Saloon; and their driver, Domingo Hernandez Endaya, 49; and Severo Belleza Muit, 60, driver of the Isuzu Jitney.
Those injured were still confined at the St. Peter’s General Hospital.
