'Big time' drug pusher falls in QC sting ops

MANILA, Philippines - Anti-narcotics agents apprehended a suspected big time drug pusher during a sting operation in Quezon City, seizing an estimated 50 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, popularly known as shabu, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency bared on Thursday.

PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said authorities nabbed Cherrilyn Feliciano, 48, of Cruz Compound, Sucat, Parañaque City, during a buy-bust operation last Mar. 12 inside a popular fast food chain in Fiesta Carnival Arcade, Araneta Center, Cubao.

Cacdac said an undercover agent, who posed as a buyer, was able to purchase from Feliciano a plastic bag containing shabu weighing more or less 50 grams.
Feliciano also yielded two mobile phones during a body search by operatives, he added. - Dennis Carcamo
