Authorities have nabbed two suspected drug pushers and seized an estimated P600,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, during a raid of two houses in Davao Oriental, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said on Wednesday.
PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said the agents along with Davao Oriental Criminal Investigation and Detection Team, Regional Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, Special Action Force and Davao Oriental Provincial Police Office, implemented the search warrants simultaneously in two houses in Purok 2, Brgy. Tagabebe, Gov. Genoroso, Davao Oriental last Feb.3.
Law enforcers arrested Ledener Siraji, Sabdani Jalali and Inseh Ruana Aminulla Jalali during the raid.
Authorities confiscated from Siraji’s house 23 sachets of shabu weighing 8.2831 grams, assorted drug paraphernalia and a caliber 9mm pistol with live ammunition.
Meanwhile, the raiding team found inside Jalali's house 86.3649 grams of shabu placed inside 14 big sachets, various drug paraphernalia, a caliber .45 pistol and 79 pieces of live ammunition for .45 caliber.
The suspects are temporarily detained at Davao Oriental Criminal Investigation and Detection Team Office.
