US national falls in drug buy-bust

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – Anti-narcotics agents seized an estimated P1.75 million worth of suspected shabu last Thursday morning from a US national who could have links with an international drug ring.

Reports said the suspect, Scoec Bosco, 40, was arrested in a drug buy-bust in his room at Holiday Plaza Hotel in Tuguegarao City.

According to the regional office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Bosco, who holds a US passport, yielded nearly 200 grams of suspected shabu in two zip-lock plastic sachets. – Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
