4 rape-slay suspects charged

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  â€“ Police have formally filed criminal charges against four men, including a minor, for last Thursday’s rape-slay of a nine-year-old girl in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Superintendent Ulysses Cruz, Dasmariñas police chief, said charges of rape with homicide were filed against Ryan Delequena, 25; Rodel Cubian, 23; Jayson Cubian, 20; and a minor aged 15.

Cruz said the four suspects earlier had denied the crime, but later owned up to it.
