Davao City woman kills grandparents, nephew

DAVAO CITY,  Philippines  – A 22-year-old woman killed her grandparents and a two-year old nephew and wounded two other children in Barangay Panacan this city Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Police said the suspect, identified as Marivic Lilok, used a kitchen knife in killing her grandparents Fidel, 75, and Teodora Lilok, 74, and nephew Christian Mark Campano.

Wounded in the attack were Christine Mae Campano, 11, and one-year-old Kathleen Campano, both nieces of the suspect.

Lilok was immediately arrested by elements of the Sasa police station.

According to sources, Lilok, said to be lesbian, could have committed the crime because her girlfriend recently broke up with her.
