Batangas, Philippines – A 27-year-old man hacked his live-in partner and two daughters aged 1 and 2 and then killed himself in Tanauan City this province Monday night, police said.
Superintendent Jerimias Aglucud, Tanauan police chief, said Feliciano Gomez attacked his live-in partner, Sheriann Mendoza, and children Angeline, 2, and Angelica, 1, with a scythe that he then used to kill himself.
Aglucud said Gomez had been suffering from a mental illness.
Police said Gomez’s siblings who resided just a few meters away discovered the killing.
