CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga ,Philippines - A policeman and his alleged cohort were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Del Pilar in San Fernando City Sunday.
Senior Superintendent Wendy Rosario, regional deputy police chief for operations, identified the suspects as PO3 Gerardo Javier, 35, a member of the National Capital Region Police Office and a certain Joey Busog, 35 of Barangay Sampaguita in General Tinio in Nueva Ecija.
Rosario said the suspects were arrested for selling a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer.
A .45 caliber pistol with seven bullets, two sachets of shabu weighing 512 grams and the Toyota Corolla (UDF-943), which was used as the getaway vehicle, were seized from the suspects.
