Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, Laguna police director, said residents found the body of Antonina Labing, 37, with at least 24 stab wounds, along the provincial road in Barangay San Roque, Victoria town at around 6:40 a.m. Friday.
Probers suspect that Labing was a victim of a robbery-holdup. Cruz told The STAR that witnesses saw her onboard a tricycle on her way to school before she was killed.
Cruz said police have a suspect, a tricycle driver, who is now being hunted down in Victoria town and nearby areas.
