BUTUAN CITY ,Philippines – An estimated P1 million worth of illegally cut logs and sawn lumbers were seized in Ojot River in Barangay Remedios, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur on Thursday.
Operatives of the Philippine National Police-Caraga headed by Superintendent Ernesto Flores and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) conducted the raid in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
The illegally cut logs are under the custody of the DENR office here for disposal.
