Hot logs seized in Vizcaya, Isabela

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya ,Philippines  – Authorities seized some 60,000 board feet of illegal logs here and in Isabela province on Saturday.

Reports said four persons were also arrested as a result of the seizure of said forest products, which are now under the custody of the provincial government’s Task Force on Forest Protection.

Earlier, at least 50,000 board feet of various types of freshly cut lumber, including narra wood, were also seized by police and environmental operatives in the hinterlands of the Nueva Vizcaya-Quirino border.
