CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Police raided seven shabu dens where female users offered sex in exchange for cash and illegal drugs in San Pedro, Laguna last Friday, resulting in the arrest of at least 17 people, including eight women.
Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, Laguna police director, said the alleged owner of the drug dens, a certain Maria Romania Jane Butin, was nabbed during the operation. Charges of sex trafficking and maintaining drug dens have been filed against her.
Cruz said male customers of the drug dens in Pulong Kendi, Barangay Cuyab, San Pedro could reportedly have sex after buying shabu worth P500. – Ed Amoroso, Aie Balagtas See
