BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – Four graduating high school students drowned while having a picnic along the Cagayan River in Isabela’s northwestern town the other day.
Police identified the drowning victims as Mary Joyce Bulan, Rey Santos, Rochie Laggui and Joylyn Cureg, all 16-year-old seniors of the Santa Maria High School in Santa Maria town.
As of press time, only the bodies of Bulan and Santos had been recovered by authorities.
