4 Central Luzon policemen hunted for motorcycle thefts
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga ,Philippines – A manhunt is ongoing for four Central Luzon policemen believed to be involved in motorcycle thefts.
Senior Superintendent Roberto Aliggayu, Nueva Ecija police director, said a police team has been formed to track down PO1 Noel Santiago Barrientos and a certain PO1 Gatbunton, both assigned in Bulacan; a certain PO1 Iral of the Pampanga Provincial Public Safety Company; and PO2 Marana of the Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija police.

He said the 11 PPSC members surrendered their undocumented motorcycles to the Highway Patrol Field Office in Cabanatuan City.
The policemen did so after the conduct of Police Information Continuing Education in the region following reports that some law enforcers were driving motorcycles without license plates in violation of the “no plate, no travel” policy and traveling without helmets.
Aliggayu said the 11 policemen – P01s John Veermir Bocalere, Jefferson Constantino, Pepito de la Cruz Jr., Renel de la Cruz, Richard de Lara, Carlo Divina, Oscar Estrel, Rafael Jimenez, Erson Joson, and Daniel Villanueva and PO2 Jefford Leobrera – could be charged administratively.
Barrientos allegedly sold the motorcycles to the policemen without the pertinent documents.
