CALAUAG, Quezon, Philippines – Seventeen people sustained injuries after a Manila-bound bus collided with a Toyota Vios along the Maharlika Highway here before dawn yesterday, police said.
Chief Inspector William Angway, this town’s police chief, said those injured included 16 passengers of the R.U. Diaz Trans bus and the driver of the Toyota Vios.
“They were immediately brought to the St. Peter General Hospital (here) for proper medication,” Angway said.
The car driver though was later transferred to the Metropolitan Hospital in Tondo, Manila, he said.
