BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – Six people were killed while three others were seriously injured when a Cagayan-bound truck rammed into two tricycles along the national highway in Santiago City, Isabela past noon yesterday, police said.
The truck was negotiating the highway in Barangay Villasis when the two speeding tricycles suddenly emerged from the corner of a road.
The strong impact resulted in the instant death of five of the tricycle passengers. The sixth fatality was the truck driver’s helper. – Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
