DAVAO CITY, Philippines – A key suspect in last year’s killing of the provincial environment officer of Davao Oriental was slain in a shootout with lawmen here yesterday morning.
The slain suspect, Neftali Artista, 32, was the principal suspect in the killing of Davao Oriental provincial environment officer Eulogio Baltazar on Sept. 10 last year.
