COTABATO CITY, Philippines – Ski mask-wearing men gunned down a brother of former Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) spokesman Eid Kabalu on a busy street here last Friday.
Senior Superintendent Willie Dangane, city police chief, said probers were still clueless on the motive behind the killing of Kabalu’s brother Nasser, 38.
Kabalu was relieved as MILF spokesman before the May 10 elections for allegedly showing support for certain local and national candidates.
New MILF spokesman Von Al Haq said Nasser Kabalu was not a member of the front.
