MANILA, Philippines - Elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested on Thursday night the missing British captain of a Panamanian registered ship found to be carrying 14 crates of high-powered guns off the coast of Mariveles in Bataan last year.
Senior Superintendent Pedro Cabatingan, CIDG National Capital Region chief, said Bruce Jones, 50, was collared at the Palm Tree Beach Resort in Olongapo City and a number of firearms and 15 grams of shabu worth P120,000 were seized from him.
