4 Chinese in shabu-laboratory raids charged

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  – Police yesterday filed criminal charges against four Chinese nationals who were arrested in raids on two shabu laboratories in Laguna last week.

Senior Superintendent Manolito Labador, Laguna police director, said charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act were filed against Qui Yau, 24; Ro San Go, 40; chemist Hong Zing Peng, 40; and Go Chan Son, 28.

Labador said the four suspects were also charged with illegal manufacturing of shabu.

He said the owner of the two-story house in Sta. Rosa City and the apartment in Sta. Cruz town where the shabu labs were busted were not included in the charge sheet.   – Ed Amoroso
