Ilocos cop faces ax

Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines  – A town policeman here finally faces the ax after his police chief actually caught him drinking while on duty.

Police Officer 3 Romeo Dumaoal could no longer reason out but offer his own hands while Paoay town police chief Senior Inspector Dexter Corpuz handcuffed him.

Dumaoal last week was reportedly directed to be on alert because an inspection team from the Ilocos region police office was heading to the town.

Instead of following orders, Dumaoal instead reportedly went drinking.

An irked Corpuz himself headed to where the policeman was drinking and immediately handcuffed him. – Artemio Dumlao
